12 April 2017. Big day. The project starts. Most of today is about deliveries: cement, building materials, a container for tools and stuff, scaffolding, sand, gravel. People arrive, introductions are made...
Apart from that, three main events take place today and tomorrow:
- Clearing the site and cutting a new access road to the front of the new house-to-be.
- Excavating the pool, cistern and septic tank
- marking up the footprint of the foundations and footings, and determining the vertical levels of the floor-to-be ('cota cero', or ground zero).
