Weeks 7 and 8 ----- (1 to 18 June 2017) ----- Finish pool and cistern structural work

We flew home on 7th June, so the photos for first week (1-7 June) are mine, and for second week
(8- 17 June) are from Vasile who sends me almost daily WhatApp updates. I return to Formentera on June 19th, so will resume in next post.

June 1st: building the roof for the cisterna

Dry, but still partly shuttered

The finished structure. Now needs plumbing (three inlet pipe holes for rain water),

waterproofing and painting inside. Pump house will be built above access hatch,

 with feeds to house and pool plumbing. Then the surrounding excavated hole will be backfilled to ground level.

The house is nearly full height on the left

Max came to visit. He loved the building site! Great climbing frames.

There are three at the bottom of the pool, two for heated water inlets, 

one for heated water return. And four at the top of the pool, three jets and one vacuum.

Now start building the overflow basin using concrete blocks
(it doesn't need to be a strong as the pool itself)...

Lintels are all home built of reinforced concrete, extending 40 centimetres each side in case we ever want to widen the windows (or doors)
