Week 22 - 18 to 23 September 2017 - Roof, windows, electrics

Busy and productive week! The roof is nearly finished, with insulation and 'arlita'  finished overall, all roofs but one waterproofed and tested, most roof areas with final layer of cement waiting for tiling. All internal walls are finished. We spent eight hours with the electricians and plumbers finalising the layout, most of the ducting channels have been cut in, and much of the base plumbing is in. Remaining door and window frames have been delivered and will be fitted soon. Underfloor heating is being designed by the supplier.

The remaining door and window frames have also been delivered

We spent eight hours over two days with the plumber and electrician marking up all the ducting, power points, light points, air-conditioning ducts, and then started on cutting them in. 

There is no logical significance to red and blue paint. We ran out of blue...

 two switches above one for wall light, one for reading light,
 reading wall lamp above that.

Final layer of cement. Next come tiles and finishing parapets with 2 layers of cement.
