Weeks 19 to 21 - (28 August to 16 September 2017) Slow down for vacation ...

As I mentioned in the last post, Sally and I are away from 23 August till 13 September. Bill also is on vacation till 4 September, so we decide that work will slow down till we all return. The roofs cannot be finished until electric conduits are cut it. Internal walls cannot be finished until some carpentry is done. Floors cannot be built up until some plumbing is in.

28 August to 2 September
Finish the parapets and some levelling of roofs, and do as much internal brickwork as possible without the carpenter.

Reinforced concrete poured for master and guest bedroom petos.

Building up the skylight to master dressing room, and parapets to master bedroom; and on the right, the un-shuttered parapets to hallway and study.

Continue with internal brickwork in master bedroom, with built-in shelving going in.

4 to 16 September

Install the built-in flush tanks for toilets, build the lintels for sliding doors in living room, master bedroom and kitchen window. Continue insulation and arlita on roofs where no ducting is required. Waterproof guest bedroom roofs and fill with water to check for leaks. Sliding doors are delivered (living room, master bedroom) along with sliding window for kitchen.
