Week 51 (but really week 52) - 9 to 14 April 2018 - Carpentry and more...

Where did week 52 go? We started work on 12 April 2017, so next Thursday will be the first anniversary of the build project. I must have miscounted some where along the way and missed a week.

The builders have some urgent work on other sites, and as we're waiting for tiles to be delivered anyway, and also because the weather is foul - strong winds, rain, chilly - we decided to slow things down this week. Moussa does some work on windows, some plumbing materials are delivered, but that's about it.

The first window is fitted in the trastero. 

All of the smaller windows will have a 'porticon', the internal solid door. Glazing will come later.

Next week we'll fit the remaining windows and shutters, and we plan to start up on the external rendering and remaining tiling.
