Week 74: 10 to 16 September. Kitchen worktop and start 'furnishing' the house.

The worktops arrive as promised on Monday, and by Tuesday morning are completely fitted in. Friends arrive on Thursday so we start making the house liveable. Other friends are staying in the old house. Twelve of us altogether (not all at the same time) over next weekend, the annual Formentera Guitars Festival weekend. Little work will get done, much wine and food will be consumed.

Big rains on Sunday: inspecting walls and windows.
And our first plant, gift from G&D.

Monday morning, start on the kitchen worktop.

Also sand and fill the garage floor, where the polished cement had failed.

 It will be painted Wednesday.

Tuesday morning. I am in Ibiza trying to sort out the Toyota keys, 

Sally sees the kitchen worktops being finished. 

Sink and hob are inset but not yet functional.

Worktop needs treating.

I fitted lights in the two guest bedrooms, we have a bed and some basic furniture.
