May-June 2019 - Continue work outside

We came down to the island in mid-May to early June. Had several visitors, and also Eric is in CH phase, so not a lot of work got done. Nevertheless, we managed to find a great wall builder, Aziz, who started on the low stone wall below the pool. As well we attacked lots of other landscaping, gravel, and planting jobs, as well as some small inside jobs.

In late June and July we'll continue the low wall to beyond the juniper in the distance.

And from 'below' from the West. The top pointing is a sand, cement and lime mix
that will eventually dry and discolour to the same shade as the stone.

While Aziz worked on the wall we built a planter...

... and stocked it with lavender, rosemary and California poppies.

All this in lovely weather, though I felt sorry for Aziz working in 30 degrees during Ramadan (he only worked mornings 8am to 2pm, but still...)
