Week 63: 25 to 30 June 2018. Paint and bathrooms

It's been very hot this last week, hitting 30 and more in the afternoons. Makes for hard work. I've been clearing trees and bushes around the house while the boys continue painting and working on the bathrooms, starting the process of building up layers of micro-cement. Outside, we work on landscaping (the rough bit) and trenches for electricity, comms and water for irrigation.

At our site meeting on Monday with architect and builder, we've charted the plan for the next couple of weeks. I leave on Wednesday and return in ten days, hopefully to find a nearly finished house!

Master bathroom shower and sink have first layer of waterproofing. 

Next will come sealant and then coloured microcement layers.

Tiling around shower tray was done Monday morning.

We also set the final tiles and rodapie (skirt tile) in the master bathroom.
This will be under that bath so invisible anyway.
The white block is the base for the bath taps.

Clearing rubble this Tuesday morning.

Looking' good!

Inside, we're cleaning and masking the beams ready to start painting the living area.
All the other rooms have two, or three, coats of white emulsion.

Wednesday morning, all shuttering and rubble is gone.

These stones will be used to rebuild a low wall in front of the pool.

We've started landscaping, ...

... and trenches for external electric and water connections.

That's it. I fly out this evening, Wednesday 27th June 2018,  so unless I receive any photos from others there will be no more updates until the week after next. Hasta pronto!
