Week 66 - 16 to 21 July 2018. Lots more little bits and pieces...

We've made good progress this week on several fronts, mainly electrics, painting and microcement in bathrooms.

The electricians are in again. Half the house now has internal fittings (switches and sockets)
 and we've started on the main breaker control box.

One of the guest rooms, just light fittings and oiling woodwork to go, and it's done ! Yay!

Garage cleared, ready for final polished concrete floor (in the bags).

A couple of days later, concrete layer down and heat pump more or less in place.

The pool is nearly finished! Side walls are rendered, tiling is done, machine room is done.
All that's missing is the tabletop for the machine room access hatch,
and the metal grill over the overflow basin.
Oh, and water.

By the end of the week, all electrics inside are finished. This is the breaker box.
We have power to the new house now, from the old house.

Main caseta. The door was finally made on Tuesday, will be fitted soon.
The black cable 'borrows' power from the existing house.
It will eventually come from the caseta just visible on the left, from Gesa-Endesa.

Installing pool LED lights.

Doesn't look like a solar panel (solar water heater), but it is.
 It has a built-in water storage tank, low profile.
The skylight is being fitted as I write.

Started oiling the iroko doors with teak oil.

Bathroom stuff now ready to be installed, as soon as microcement is finished.
