Week 12 ----- (10 to 15 July 2017) ----- Build reinforced concrete roofs

We spend this finishing up the main structure of the house, so that we can slow down in August, when it's too hot anyway, ready for September when the services work will start: plumbing and electrics. We will also work on the internal walls, putting in insulation and brickwork.

We build up all the support structures and reinforcement for the remaining roofs on Monday through Thursday and pour the concrete on 14 July 2017, Bastille day.

And while all this was going on, Sally and worked at the old house, clearing the jungle behind the kitchen, and finishing the backfilling of the trenches for the new cistern pipes.
