As I left about half the beams had been treated, as shown in the last post. In the evening of the same day (Monday 24 July), Vasile sent me the following photos of the beams in place. Now that's progress! There are even some 'bardos' in place (the flat clay plates that span the beams).
Monday 24 July
Cross beams being placed on the west side, using the concrete wall as support.
The next pictures shows the east side where the cross beams are
supported by the main structural beam.

On Tuesday the terrace beams go on, and ...
... all the bardos are on the living area roof as well. The terrace beams(14x14 mm) are not distressed.
On Wednesday, all the beams are in and all the bardos are installed as well.

The second big job today is prepping the new roof for concrete.
First a breathing membrane, then steel reinforcement mesh.
Ditto for terrace (El porche) roof...
Roof concrete is on! Terrace in foreground, and note the 'ridge' over the main pine beam structure
with chimney (left) and kitchen extractor (right) outlets.
The stairway to heaven is also poured and formed, along with the small landing at the top. All roofs will get more layers of insulation, cement and tiles, and will be surrounded by 'petos' (parapets) (except terrace roof).

On Wednesday, all the beams are in and all the bardos are installed as well.

The bardos are pegged about 5-10 mm above the beams to allow for plaster under. Same applies to the living/dining/kitchen area, photo below. At 6pm in late July the dipping sun just reaches the kitchen window sill. Our calculations worked!

Thursday 27 July
The stairs are being built. First the reinforcement steel for the stair base, ...
...then the shuttering for the treads, with the mini-landing at top.
The second big job today is prepping the new roof for concrete.

The concrete mixer is called in and the roofs are poured.
